So good news is that I have finally got started on getting the parts for my cosplays for Saboten. <3 Bad news is that I only have the lining and small detail parts...><;;; Yay for lack of money. Thankfully my job is giving me more hours so I can pay for the main fabric out of my next check then order the shoes and wig shortly after. The real trick is gonna be finishing about four cosplays all by Saboten. @_@ I'm also not sure if I'm gonna have all the money to get the hotel for the con, so I'm selling old cosplays I made and never plan on wearing again to hopefully help with the costs. So anywho, on a lighter note, what is everyone cosplaying for Sabo? <3! I know I'm gonna be doing Hope from Final Fantasy XIII again, and my surprises(for those of you that know, shush or I'll hunt you down! XP!), but thats about it. Hopefully I'll get some ideas if I hear what you guys are doing. <3!

Kite was a pretty easy cosplay. I was shocked honestly. Lol. The main thing I can suggest to ya is keep the game up while you're making him. I started by looking at pictures online and not one had the same details on his pants. The game version was easiest and I was able to turn the camera for whenever I was questioning some of the details. Otherwise, if you have any muslin or some scrap fabric laying around, I'd say start there. Sadly, Kite's undershirt started as an idea of how I wanted to make the undershirt and vest. The fabric I originally got for the undershirt was too white, so I stuck with an unbleached muslin. =D! His bag and belts were made of vinyl. If you have the time, you can try to do the diamond design on his bag, but mine seemed to turn out fine without the diamonds. ^_^ I hope this info helped slightly. If you got any more detail questions, go ahead and ask. I can't wait to see the finished product! <3!

Lol. I tend to do that with a lot of cosplayers that come through. The only way I can really show I'm an otaku at this place is by wearing jewelry of any sort. Then again, I have learned over the past eight years the little details about a person to tell if they are a cosplayer or not. XD! Kinda sad its taken me that long. But anyways, I searched all over, and I likely searched in the wrong spot, but I couldn't find any pics of the new cosplay your are working on. Can ya point me to them? <3

Lol. I guess the fabric store is a perfect environment for that. Grocery stores- not so much. XD Though I have met a few others because of work... Super fun times though. I need to expand my cosplaying circle, since I just moved down to the valley. Now I'm major excited!

Sorry for not replying earlier. >< Things have been super busy here.

It cool that you just moved here. Where did you move from? <3! I've been thinking about trying to go to out of state cons if I have friends living in them, but I'm not 100% sure yet. >< Its seeming to cost a lot more money than expected. Lol. Otherwise, what cons ya plan on going to next? My cosplay group plans on deciding all that info this weekend. We will have to hang out sometime during them and chat. ^_^! I'll keep following you on your blog to see more progress pictures. <3
